Welcome to windgate farm online.
Thank you for your interest in this year’s
March Break Riding Camp.
We have been in operation over 39 years and are pleased to continue our tradition of offering school-aged children the chance to experience of joys of horsemanship. Please click here for an application form and an information brochure. Here are a few other details to be aware of:
Campers are grouped according to age and experience; campers with similar skill levels ride together.
Horsemanship is our main focus, but we do other fun summer stuff too –games, swimming, arts & crafts, nature walks, etc.
Camp is not kind to clothes. Think durable.
Long pants are a must during the riding lessons. Shorts are not OK, because bare legs are not comfortable against the saddle leather.
Windgate hosts horse shows on some weekends. Campers and the general public are welcomed as spectators to these competitive events.
Please feel free to call me if you have any questions about Summer Riding Camp or other Windgate programs. I’ll be happy to provide details of the family or multi-session discounts when you call.
Sincerely,
Shirley Campbell,
Owner, Camp Director
